Tropical Storm Rick in eastern Pacific no threat to land
MIAMI » Tropical Storm Rick is moving to the west-northwest in the eastern Pacific off Mexico’s coast and currently poses no threat to land.
The storm’s maximum sustained winds Thursday night were near 40 mph with little change in strength forecast during the next 48 hours.
Rick is centered about 365 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and is moving west-northwest at 10 mph.
There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
