No. 5 Kansas, No. 19 Vanderbilt to play for Maui title
LAHAINA >> Fifth-ranked Kansas and No. 19 Vanderbilt will meet Wednesday for the championship of the 2015 Maui Jim Maui Invitational.
The Commodores of the SEC and the Jayhawks of the Big 12 have both one the event once before.
After Vanderbilt defeated Wake Forest 86-64, Kansas followed that rout by soundly beating UCLA 92-73.
Kansas, which won the Maui title in 1996, lost to Duke 68-61 in the 2011 Maui title game. Vanderbilt took home the Wayne Duke Trophy in 1986.
