Police seek suspect in slaying of Kalihi woman
Police said they are looking for a 25-year-old man wanted in the slaying of a 39-year-old Kalihi woman.
Jhun Ley Irorita is wanted for questioning in connection with the death of Helen Prestosa, who was last seen about 7 p.m. Nov. 19 in Kalihi.
Sgt. Kim Buffett said Prestosa was initially reported as a missing person, but police received new information and reclassified the case to a second-degree murder.
Buffett declined to say whether police have recovered Prestosa’s body, but said detectives need to talk to Irorita, who is a suspect in the case.
Irorita is 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He drives a white 2013 four-door Toyota Tacoma pickup and is known to frequent the Kalihi, Windward, and Waipahu areas.
Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME from a cellphone.

Any chance that CS could have posted the lic plate of the suspect’s vehicle? Sure would have been easier to locate…
