Boxing gloves with ‘84 Olympic boxers’ autographs recovered after burglary

The gloves, bearing the autographs of numerous boxers and referees who participated in the 1984 Olympic Games, were removed from a home in Hawaiian Beaches during a burglary possibly in mid-January, police said.
Hawaii County police today said tips from the public helped them to recover a pair of autographed boxing gloves from the 1984 Olympic Games.
Police announced the recovery of the boxing gloves from a residence at Orchidland Estates subdivision in Puna.
The gloves, bearing the autographs of numerous boxers and referees who participated in the 1984 Olympic Games, were removed from a home in Hawaiian Beaches during a burglary possibly in mid-January, police said.
Police said the investigation into the theft of the Everlast gloves was continuing.
