Maui man critically injured in four-vehicle crash in Wailuku
A 21-year-old Kihei man was in critical condition Monday after a driver crossed the center of Haleakala Highway in Wailuku and collided with three oncoming vehicles, Maui police said.
The crash happened about 8:20 p.m. when a driver heading down Haleakala Highway lost control just above Firebreak Road, police said.
Firefighters extricated the 21-year-old man from one of the vehicles and emergency responders took him to Maui Memorial Medical Center in critical condition.
A minor was also taken to the hospital in good condition.
Police did not say whether the 21-year-old man was driving any of the vehicles.
Police added that one of the vehicles had been reported stolen that morning.

Typical irresponsible reporting. Haleakala highway is not in Wailuku. It ends Kahului, Confused as to who was driving what.Do not publish this kind of news and waste my money.
