Oahu Community Correctional Center inmate Lloyd Schmitt, who failed to return from work furlough last week, was picked up by police Wednesday in Waikiki.

Schmitt, 38, failed to return to the Laumaka Work Furlough Center on May 27.

Schmitt was serving time for second-degree theft, car theft and promoting a dangerous drug.
