UH football team trained under the supervision of army soldiers at Schofield Barracks. They start their day with an haka, then take a wild ride aboard a CH-47 Chinook helicopter to a training area for team building exercises. The helicopter made server very tight turns (as seen in the picture) and a sudden drop that seem to give some of the players “green” expressions like they were trying not to throw up. Then we get a helicopter ride back that’s just as wild, for lunch, then are driven to another training area for more team building exercises.

This is the offensive team getting off the chopper and running out onto the open field. It took two helicopters to carry the offensive team. Later they will do a team building exercise.

This is one of them where the team was blind folded except for only one on each team who had to yell out instructions on how to get to the robe for a "tug of war." That's why the team seems to be searching for the rope and Keelan Ewailko (far right) is "backwards" as he is one the same "tug of war" team as the others on the left. He quickly reverses his position, but to no avail as they lost.

After the "tug of war" team building exercise, they get together for the helicopter ride back for lunch. This is the group waiting posing for a picture as they wait for their helicopter ride, just outside of "Ranger Jungle" were they trained.

The helicopter ride was crazy as the helicopter made several very sharp turns and drops (where we actually felt like zero gravity). Several of the players seem to get air sick like poor Melvin Davis.

This is 6Õ5Ó, 290 pound lineman, Leo Loloamatangi gingerly walking across the wooden planks. A team of 10 UH football players were asked to build a bridge out of wooden planks without touching the ground and move ammo boxes across them. The team had to help each other build a bridge out of wooden planks and determine who could carry the boxes over them (which meant the lighter players had to carry the heavy boxes over the planks). And it took team work to maneuver the wooden planks to build a bridge.

The team has to help each other build a bridge out of wooden planks without touching the ground and move ammunition boxes over it. Stubblefield was choosing since he a relatively small 6Õ0Ó, 190 pound wide receiver to he could carry the box over the wooden plank (unlike a big 300 pound lineman). It takes team work to maneuver the wooden planks to build a bridge and get everyone over it.
