Job history past 10 years:

I am a lifelong Libertarian who has served a day in federal prison for every year of recorded human history (20+ years). During which times I practiced federal law by filing tens of thousands of petitions, lawsuits, appeals and other claims of entitlement to immediate release on behalf of other prisoners and myself. I am very well read and versed in federal law, court procedure and practice. I love the Constitution and am here to help the people reclaim our government from those who hate liberty.

Ever run for public office? If so, when? Outcome?

Yes. I ran for U.S. Senate in 2014 and received more votes than any other Libertarian candidate in the history of the Libertarian Party in Hawaii.

Other civic experience or community service?

I am very active in the Libertarian Party of Hawaii, my own campaign and in the community as Director of the Friends of Jesus Christ and in my private capacity as an auto broker for my own business Hawaii Auto Salvage LLC (I am the only active auto broker in Hawaii)

What makes you qualified to be a U.S. senator?

After spending more than 20 years in federal prison, practicing law as an attorney, I feel confident that I know firsthand what is wrong with the federal government: It’s that drug war! The drug war is bad because it subjects people to trial by legislature and must be stopped.

Do you support the use of United States combat troops in Syria to defeat ISIS, or to end the rule of President Bashar al-Assad?

No. I feel that we should shut down Syria by blockade and stop ISIS by other means.

Do you support the continued use of U.S. troops in Iraq, or should those troops be withdrawn?

No. Our troops should be withdrawn from Iraq.

It will take decades to stabilize that region of the world using conventional means and force. That is something we should allow those people to do, on their own, without our interference.

Do you support the continued use of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, or should those troops be withdrawn?

No. Our troops should be withdrawn.

It will take decades to stabilize that region of the world using conventional means and force. That is something we should allow those people to do, on their own, without our interference.

Should the United States recognize a Native Hawaiian government through an administrative rule or an act of Congress?

Yes. Through an administrative rule or act of congress. Libertarian candidates support the sovereignty of all people over government and its officials. We stand for personal liberty, rights and personal sovereignty of all people.

What changes should be made to the federal Affordable Care Act?

It should be abolished as unconstitutional on its face due to the unlawful practice of requiring sovereign people to buy insurance under color of law. Congress does not have the authority to command people to buy any type of insurance under pains and penalties

Should the federal government legalize marijuana?

Yes. Drug laws criminalize people merely because legislators think them guilty of conduct deserving of punishment. When legislators determine that groups of people should be punished as criminals, they subject the people to trial by legislature, and that must stop.
