Alarm trips up burglary suspect at Sand Island warehouse

A 27-year-old man was caught in a Sand Island warehouse Sunday morning after he tripped a silent alarm.

The alarm company called the owner of the warehouse on Ulupono Street at 9 a.m. to inform him that one of the building’s doors was open.

The owner arrived and checked his building with security personnel and found the suspect.

The suspect, of no known local address, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary.
