Crystal meth shipment worth $280,000 intercepted on Hawaii island
Hawaii island police on Thursday intercepted a shipment of crystal meth valued at $280,000.
Police said in a press release that the Area II Vice Section’s Airport Task Force unit recovered 2,800.4 grams, or about six pounds, of suspected crystal methamphetamine from a package headed to Kona.
“The task force officers had located an incoming package to which a narcotics detection canine displayed a positive alert, indicating an odor of a controlled substance was emanating from the package. Officers prepared and executed a search warrant on the package, which led to the recovery of approximately six pounds of suspected crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $280,000,” police said.
No arrests have been made, but an investigation is under way.

This is an island state and we know how to stop shipments. Big Island is cursed with this drug which is destroying families.
