Man who died after 2-vehicle crash in Pahoa identified

The 37-year-old man who died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Pahoa Thursday has been identified as Michael Simmons of O’Brien, Ore.

The crash occurred on Highway 130 between Leilani Avenue and Malama Street in Pahoa.

Hawaii County Police ask that anyone who witnessed the crash call Officer Erhard Autrata at 961-8118. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
