Putin says he doesn’t believe Trump met prostitutes in Russia

ASSOCIATED PRESS

Russian President Vladimir Putin attended a Jan. 11 meeting with Russian prosecutors in Moscow, Russia. Putin today said he doesn’t believe that President-elect Donald Trump met with prostitutes in Russia, calling the accusations part of a campaign to undermine the election result.

MOSCOW >> Russian President Vladimir Putin said he doesn’t believe that President-elect Donald Trump met with prostitutes in Russia, calling the accusations part of a campaign to undermine the election result.

Unsubstantiated allegations made against Trump are “obvious fabrications,” Putin told reporters in the Kremlin today. “People who order fakes of the type now circulating against the U.S. president-elect, who concoct them and use them in a political battle, are worse than prostitutes because they don’t have any moral boundaries at all,” he said.

Putin said that Trump wasn’t a politician when he visited Moscow in the past and Russian officials weren’t aware that he held any political ambitions. It’s “complete nonsense” to believe that Russian security services “chase after every American billionaire,” he said.

The Kremlin has denied that it holds any compromising material on Trump after U.S. intelligence officials informed the president-elect about unsubstantiated reports that Russia had compiled potentially damaging personal information on him.

Trump in a news conference on Jan. 11 lashed out at some media organizations for publishing the unverified material about alleged Russian intelligence gathering on him and Democrat Hillary Clinton. The Russian aim was to leverage the information to shift U.S. policy toward Russia, including by potentially blackmailing Trump, according to memos shown to the president-elect and President Barack Obama by U.S. intelligence agencies.

Trump said it was “disgraceful” that intelligence agencies had allowed “fake” information out, comparing this to the actions of Nazi Germany.

The U.S. tycoon-turned-politician was last in Moscow in 2013 for the staging of the Miss Universe contest that he owned. He hoped unsuccessfully to meet Putin, tweeting in June that year about the possibility the Russian leader would attend the beauty pageant.

Trump is “a grown man, and secondly, he’s someone who has been involved with beauty contests for many years and has met the most beautiful women in the world,” Putin said. “I find it hard to believe that he rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world.”

Has a former head of the KGB ever defended an American President like this?

    • klastri says:

No. Never. Putin obviously wants Trump in office so he can continue this sad, public manipulation.

All that’s needed to have Trump support someone is to complement him. He’s profoundly mentally ill. Mr. Putin is a murderous dictator and former KGB leader who laments the breakup of the Soviet Union. He is not someone to be friendly with.

It’s hard to imagine that something this grotesque is even happening.

      • localcitizen says:

No. You’re delusional. Ridiculous to have the limited mental ability to repeat or support non substantiated, by Any FACT,S, rumors like this crap
The worst part of society is showing here. No facts, just rumors designed to hurt.

        • klastri says:

I’m sorry that you didn’t take History in school. Russia is not our friend. Mr. Putin complimented Mr. Trump and immediately thereafter, Trump started taking peculiar positions, like criticizing NATO and the CIA. This is exactly what Mr. Putin would want – a malignant narcissist in the White House who can be manipulated like a child.

        • DannoBoy says:

How dare they try to smear Trump with all those nasty “rumors designed to hurt.” Who did this? Who is responsible?!!

Personally, I think it was “Little Marco” smearing Trump with blood from Fiorina’s “you know what”.

Or maybe it was the Guy who smeared Obama with that whole birther nonsense.

          Who knows?

Trump will get to the bottom of it, and when he does… watch out for the… Ka-tweet!

Make Trump’s Grudge List Great Again!

        • sjean says:

local, are you commenting on Putin’s support for trump? That is substantiated fact. The “worst part of society” really?

        • Vector says:

Senator and Republican John McCain who fought in the Viet Nam war and was captured and imprisoned, said this about Putin just the other day. “Putin is a thug and a murderer, and he is no friend to this country. I have to agree. Putin invaded the Ukraine and annexed Crimea which was part of Ukraine. Assad in Syria has been massacred 400,000 of his own people, and another 4 million of his people have fled from the carnage. Putin has assisted Assad with the bombing of Aleppo, bombing hospitals, civilians, men, women and children indiscriminately. Putin wants to undermine the countries along the Russian border for future invasions into Latvia, Estonia, Poland. He wants the NATO alliance weakened so he expand his empire. He wants the oil trade sanctions that were placed on Russia after it annexed Crimea. Trump wants to “work” with Putin, in other words lift the oil embargo, so Russia can sell their oil internationally again.

      • Cricket_Amos says:

The use of the term “profoundly mentally ill” hints at what the far left used to say about anyone who did not share in their view of the world. As I recall it was a prelude to their needing to be “re-educated”.

OK go to it now, I am sure you have a stored up string of invectives you are just waiting to get out at anyone who does not agree with your opinion.

        • klastri says:

Your comment is ridiculous with regard to re-educated. Anyone who read Mr. Trump’s tweets can see the problem. Anyone. If you choose to not read them, that’s not my concern.

I could not care less what you think of my comments. If you don’t want to read them, then you might muster up the discipline to not read them.

        • DannoBoy says:

          Exactly, Cricket_Amos.

How many times is klastri going to point out Trump’s mental illness anyway?

Earth to klastri! Cricket_A and the rest of us all know Trump is erratic and deranged.

Hello? We didn’t just crawl out from under a rock (well maybe sarge22 and lespark did, but nevermind that).

We all know he’s sick. But we like it that way.
It’s the kind of sick that makes his victory that much more SWEEEEET!!

So you might as well knock it off. It’s not even the inauguration yet and it’s already getting old.
“Trump said this. Trump said that. Trump is a Germaphobe. Trump keeps ranting. Trump never sleeps. Trump mumbles to himself. Trump proclaims himself emperor. Bla bla bla.”
          Who cares? He won.

Put on your big boy pull-ups, klastri, and buckle your carseat nice and tight.
It’s going to be a bumpy ride. Big league bumpy.

Trump won* He won. He won. Yippee!

Trump is mentally ill. Totally erratic, unpredictable, hyperactive, self-centered, egotistical, lacking any sense of compassion for anyone but himself, and with an attention deficit disorder. This morning a woman was driving ahead of me. I began to notice her weaving erratically from left to right in and out of her lane, suddenly speeding up, then just as suddenly going at snails pace. I immediately thought of Trump. That’s the kind of driver who will be running our country. A close friend of mine told me, when he first laid eyes on Trump, he saw him as another Nero, the Roman Emperor who burnt the city down as he played the fiddle.

        • DannoBoy says:

Nero was a beautiful winner too. Total class act.

    • allie says:

There is something bizarre going on with Trump and Putin. No president has ever acted this way. Trump compromises our security and is just a horrible embarrassment to the USA> many in Europe believe that America is in deep decline and serious deterioration with Trump as president. Having just enjoyed such a high regard for President Obama who was brilliant, educated, elegant and kind I fear Trump’s silly entertainer routine. He seems oblivious to American interests with his threats against China and anyone he personally dislikes.
Congressman Lewis was so correct: this pretender is not in any way legitimate.

      • inverse says:

“Trump compromises our security”? That is exactly what Hillary did as Secretary of State when she sent and received top secret emails through her “home brew” email server and then spent the rest of her presidential campaign dodging questions about what she did and how she did not commit a crime unlike General Petraeus who was tried and convicted for a similar situation.

        • MillionMonkeys says:

The election is over. Focus on Donald J. Pay attention to what he says and does, whom he deals with, if he tries to take credit for things he didn’t do, etc. Then focus on why his hair is so strange.

        • allie says:

Clinton was as investigated as much as any official in American history. Result: No charges brought against her much less a guilty verdict.

      • Denominator says:

Congressman Lewis can’t remember his own actions or judge other’s. Lewis simply thinks that unless a President wins the popular vote, he isn’t legitimate, and that’s why he didn’t think George Bush was legitimately elected either. Do we really want to gum that issue to death for 4 years?

        • Vector says:

Honorable Congressman John Lewis said he believed Trump to be an illegitimate President, because of the Russian hacking and leaks during the campaign in support of Trump and to damage Clinton. Before making contrived assertions, you need to listen more carefully to the words spoken by John Lewis during the interview.

      • DannoBoy says:

allie: “There is something bizarre going on with Trump and Putin. No president has ever acted this way.”

        I wondered the same thing.
Other Trump devotees have wondered the same thing.
Heck, the entire free world is wondering the same thing.
What’s going on with Donald and Vladdy?

Well. Don’t overthink this one folks.
The answer is staring us right in the face.
And the answer is staring with a pair of beautiful ice-blue eyes and little pink pouty lips.
        Who wouldn’t love that face?
Surely Trump wouldn’t not love that face.
Can you see the answer now?
Trump is in love again, and he wants everyone to know it.

What we have here is a hot Bromance between two great strong leaders who have so much in common. They practically finish each other’s sentences.
        It’s so cute.
        And hot.

Trump is a winner, who does anything to win at getting what he wants.
Putin is a winner, who does anything to win at getting what he wants.
Trump allows nothing to stand in his way. Not truth. Not decency. Not pathetic laws and lame ethics.
Just like his classy new pal Putin.

This hot, luxurious, beautiful Bromance is blossoming between two of the best winners ever!

        Winning is sexy.

      • Vector says:

I just read a Vanity Fair article by one of their journalists. He has researched many of Trump’s past business deals. He believes Trump owes China and Goldman Sachs about $650 Million, and has made huge bribes and kickbacks with China, and some emerging countries. And with Trump’s hyberbole and exaggeration, Trump claims to have a net worth of 8 billion, however upon checking the reporter believes Trump to be worth about $800 million.

        • mctruck says:

Trump is probably in a deep financial hole; he more than likely owes Putin close to a billion dollars or more and Putin aims to “collect.”

  2. Keonigohan says:

    What say you vector?

  3. CriticalReader says:

Putin knows, because all the prostitutes were with him and his cronies. Those weren’t prostitutes. They were spies. There’s a difference.

    • DannoBoy says:

Putin said, “I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world.”

I have just one question: Is that a Great quote or the Greatest quote ever?

    • Rite80 says:

Trump said he was very careful to avoid being spied upon in a Russian Government owned hotel known for having hidden cameras and microphones in order to blackmail Putin’s adversaries. 🙂

    • allie says:

What an embarrassment to the USA. How many presidents have started their presidency fending off accusations about prostitution and corruption? None. Trump may well be impeached before his term is up. This guy si not straight.

      • DannoBoy says:

Give it up allie. That will never happen.

If Trump gets impeached before his term is up, it won’t be due to unverifiable accusations about prostitution and Russian corruption. Never happened. No way.

No, it will be because Trump has failed to fully divest (meaning sell off) all of his business interests, and once any of the companies and hotels he owns does any business with a foreign government or its representatives he will be in violation of the U.S. Constitution (Article I, Section 9, Clause 8), unless of course the Republican-controlled Congress gives its consent for this.

We have yet to find the bottom to Paul Ryan’s groveling before Trump, so he could grant Trump permission to take foreign bribes (legally of course).
We’ll just have to wait and see. Yippee!

        One thing is certain:
If Trump is ever impeached, it will be the biggest, classiest, most beautiful impeachment ever in history. Classiest Ever.

Unsubstantiated allegations made against Trump are “obvious fabrications,” Putin told reporters in the Kremlin today. ”

    The headline seems misleading.
“obvious fabrications” is far stronger than “doesn’t believe”

    • MillionMonkeys says:

“Obvious fabrication” is Putin’s quote. You cannot just use a person’s quote and make it the headline. When the quote fairly and closely aligns with the general idea the newspaper feels it is appropriate to convey, they can use that quote in the headline. That’s how the REAL news works.

Good example of quotes in headline: JANET JACKSON APOLOGIZES FOR “WARDROBE MALFUNCTION”

Bad example of quotes in headline: TRIAL FOR “COMPLETELY INNOCENT” OJ CONTINUES. GREAT AMERICAN FOOTBALL STARS VOWS TO “PERSONALLY SEARCH FOR REAL KILLERS”

  6. bsdetection says:

Looking at Putin’s gentle beady eyes, you can practically hear him think…”Reminder to self: Schedule in a ‘disposal’ of this doorak, sometime between little Katerina’s soccer practice and visit to animal shelter….and don’t forget to give self award for being great leader of all time…”

    • DannoBoy says:

Finally, someone has put these nasty rumors to bed. For good. Thanks, Vladdy.

    • HanabataDays says:

    Cast and producers of Hamilton
    Mika Brzezinski
    The media
    Ruth Bader Ginsburg
    CNN
    Wall Street Journal
    Vicente Fox

Trump never apologizes himself, but he will keep demanding loads and loads of apologies from others.

People who order fake news to change the outcome of another country’s election are worse than pimps. And when Putin starts slapping Trump around, he’ll be worse than a mean pimp.

“Trump said it was ‘disgraceful’ that intelligence agencies had allowed ‘fake’ information out, comparing this to the actions of Nazi Germany.”

Nazi Germany, aren’t they the people who shut down any newspapers who didn’t publish only glowing reports about them? And isn’t Trump that guy who won an election with the help of fake news? And didn’t he once say Hitler was a great leader? So that makes Trump a…..?

This is the true United States Legacy of this NON-State

January 17, 1893 the Overthrow of the Kanaka Maoli

On this day 124 years ago our Hawaiian Kingdom was overthrown sending the fate of 40,000 Kanaka Maoli people into a forever changed chaotic trajectory. For Kanaka, living in the Kingdom had been all they’d known for the previous 80 years, but being governed by our own people had been all we’ve known since we were created on this Earth. For 40,000 Kanaka, in one instance in time we were taken from the front of the line to outside the building, in one instance we went from being a Nation State with our fearless Queen at the helm to an occupied state with our people fleeing to the mountains, running for their lives.

On this day I’d like to offer you these facts of why our people are still the most incarcerated, the most homeless, the most diabetic, the most vulnerable to the socioeconomic perils of this state because on this day 124 years ago our collective people’s National Sovereignty was suppressed, our Queen was overthrown and her government was removed. Our people that have lived within these 124 years of struggle and pain and embarrassment were destined to live different lives then the ones we live today. We weren’t supposed to be the most homeless in our own home, our children weren’t supposed to be the ones struggling to keep up with other ethnicities when it came to education and graduation rates, our people weren’t supposed to be discarded and shipped off to jails and insane asylums but they were and that is tied directly to the ramifications of the overthrow.

Despite all that we have lost and all the trials and tribulations that our people have suffered through, the Kanaka Maoli, the Hawaiian Nationality is still alive, it lives in the Hawaiian people. We still here, we still breathing, we still have time to change our trajectory and grab control of our destiny. It starts with us the Kanaka learning their rights and exercising them, but it also starts with you the non-Kanaka. The ones who have had a front row seat to the downward trajectory of our people for all this time, as I am writing this the trajectory for the majority of kanaka is continuing on its chaotic march because we need support. We can’t do this alone, it is up to the non-Kanaka to recognize and identify with the great injustice that has annihilated our people, please don’t wait for the government to tell you what you should do, you know right from wrong, theft is a crime no matter if it’s a car or a Nation. You the non-Kanaka need to look deep inside your conscious to see what is really going on here in Hawaii to the Kanaka Maoli people and decide for yourself if what you think is happening to them is right.

This State is not built on just Laws, this State is not built on racial and ethnic harmony, this State is not built on Aloha, this State is built on a lie and a theft and it will always be that way until Justice for our people is achieved. I’m asking you to reflect on this day, January 17th as you enjoy your life here in the state of Hawaii that you do so upon the suppression of our people’s National Sovereignty.

Justice for the Kanaka Maoli will create a different trajectory for the Kanaka Maoli and the residents of Hawaii….

Did I seriously just read a head of state’s boast about the quality of his country’s prostitutes?

It’s a mad mad world indeed.
