H-3 Freeway reopened after crashes cleared
Police reopened the Kaneohe-bound lanes of the H-3 Freeway this afternoon after tow trucks removed multiple vehicles that had been in crashes on the highway.
Police said the first crash was reported at about 2:50 p.m. and all the eastbound lanes were closed at about 3:30 p.m.
There were at least two accidents near the tunnels, one in the left lane and one in the right lane, police said. Officers closed the lanes until tow trucks could remove the vehicles.
No major injuries were reported.
The road was reopened at about 4:10 p.m.
