>> Food Basket-Hawaii Island has been donating an average of 5,000 pounds of food a week, totaling more than 35,000 pounds, for distribution by the Bodacious Women of Pahoa. A Page A1 article Wednesday said a total of 5,000 pounds had been distributed and that it was purchased from Food Basket.

>> Gov. David Ige’s chief of staff, Mike McCartney, provided the Honolulu Star-Advertiser with a 2007 letter from the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands that said Bank of America had fulfilled a $150 million loan commitment to provide Native Hawaiian mortgage loans. A Page B4 story Friday said Bank of America spokeswoman Jumana Bauwens gave the letter to the paper.
