Murder investigation continues after body found in Tantalus

Detectives are continuing to investigate a murder involving the body of a 22-year-old man found in the Tantalus area.

Lt. Deena Thoemmes of the Honolulu Police Department’s Homicide Detail said a passerby discovered the victim off of Tantalus Drive at approximately 2:40 p.m. Sunday.

Emergency Medical Services responded and he was pronounced dead.

According to Thoemmes, the victim sustained some traumatic head injuries.

Detectives are investigating; no arrests have been made at this time.
