Man seriously injured in Waimanalo stabbing

A 25-year-old man was taken to a hospital after he sustained stab wounds in Waimanalo early today.

Emergency Medical Services said the victim sustained injuries to his left hand and right thigh after he was allegedly attacked by a suspect with a knife in the area of the 41-580 block of Poalima Street shortly before 2 a.m.

Paramedics treated and took the victim to an area hospital in serious condition.

Police said there are no arrests at this time.
