United Airlines’ ‘fantasy flight’ takes Honolulu keiki to meet Santa at North Pole
United Airlines took a group of children being helped by several Honolulu organizations on its annual “fantasy flight” to the North Pole today.
The children and their family members — from Special Olympics Hawaii, HUGS, Honolulu Community Action Program, Hawaii Children’s Justice Center and Goodwill — boarded a decorated United plane for a short flight to the “North Pole” to meet Santa and receive gifts from their wish list.
The airline transformed a Daniel K. Inouye International Airport terminal into a winter wonderland for the event.
