Man, 59, loses truck in Moiliili carjacking

Police are investigating a robbery where a male suspect allegedly threatened a 59-year-old man and stole his pickup truck in Moiliili.

Police said the perpetrator approached the victim in the parking lot of an apartment building on Young Street at approximately 2:10 a.m. Monday. He allegedly used an unspecified dangerous instrument to threaten the victim and stole his vehicle.

Police said the suspect fled in the victim’s pickup truck described as a white 2008 Ford Ranger with a Hawaii license plate PSB408.

No injuries were reported.
