Power restored to all but 6 in Kaneohe neighborhood
All but six of the 1,675 Hawaiian Electric Company customers in Kaneohe who lost power this morning are back on line.
The company estimates that the remaining customers will be back on line by 8 p.m., when crews complete repairs to a damaged utility line.
Residents on Okana Place were the first to report losing power at 11:21 a.m. HECO said the outage was caused by a vehicle hitting a utility pole.
The company switched to other circuits and got most of the affected customers back on line by 12:45 p.m.
