Jay Fidell is so right (“New choices for interisland air travel could benefit consumers,” Star-Advertiser, Island Voices, May 28).
Simply put, a real good airline is one that provides services or benefits without being asked. A true measure of a good airline is providing these services when there was no competition. Too bad Hawaiian Airlines didn’t rise to that level.
