Remains found in Connecticut confirmed to be missing Hawaii woman
Authorities confirmed the remains found in Waterbury as those of a missing 31-year-old Perrie Mason who recently moved to Connecticut from Hawaii, according to the Connecticut Post today.
Law enforcement found human remains Wednesday in Waterbury.
According to the newspaper, Mason’s fiance, Jason Watson, 38, reported her missing Sunday and said she might be staying at a friend’s house because she was mad at him.
Police arrested him Tuesday for strangulation, assault and unlawful restraint from a domestic assault case involving Mason before she was reported missing, the newspaper said.
Mason, who previously resided in Salt Lake and Kalihi on Oahu, has two children.
