Well folks, it’s almost that time of year again. Time to stock up on those pet tranquilizers, earplugs, anxiety medicine, asthma inhalers and sleeping pills. Hawaii terrorism will rear its ugly head to disrupt the quiet lives of thousands of innocent residents and animals from Thanksgiving through the second week of January.
Yes, those peace-shattering illegal bombs, aerials and fireworks are coming. The lawless, inconsiderate jerks (more descriptive terms could be in order) will be terrorizing our neighborhoods once again.
Maybe the feds can stop the mayhem by taking down those who allow the importation of the thousands of tons of fireworks and bomb-making materials obviously coming in through our ports.
As with the Kealoha saga, the feds have proven effective in taking down those our law enforcement agencies couldn’t reach.
Sadly, the safety and sanctity of our law-abiding citizens takes a back seat to the untaxed profits from the illegal fireworks black market. Nothing is being done by our local government to stop it.
