Jane’s Fountain, named after owner Matsuro Nakasone’s only daughter, continues to do business on Liliha Street though its focus now is on plate lunches sold to regular customers. Previously the restaurant, which opened in 1948, enjoyed business from bus riders seeking a sundae or Coke and hamburger.
