Local religious leaders led a vigil in response to the deaths of Gary Rabellizsa Jr., 34, and Cathy Rabellizsa, 59, who were killed Friday in Maili.

Cathy Rabellizsa’s grandchildren, from left, Elyjah Floerke-Rabellizsa, 12, with his sisters Nalani, 13, and Kiani, 18, attended the vigil. “I know that they’re both watching over us. I just wish it didn’t happen they way it happened. They weren’t supposed to leave us like that,” said Nalani.
