Man seriously injured while trimming tree in Wahiawa

A 35-year-old man was seriously injured while trimming a tree Tuesday at the Wahiawa Convenience Station.

Fire Capt. David Jenkins said the tree trimmer was on a boom truck when he cut a branch, and it fell on him.

Emergency Medical Services said the 35-year-old was seriously injured at 4:16 p.m. at the Wahiawa Convenience Station, located at Kamananui Road and Wilikina Drive.

He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in serious condition.
