Bishop to give talks at 3 churches

Bishop Steven Charleston, a leading proponent of justice issues, the environment and spiritual renewal, will speak tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday at three Episcopal churches on Oahu. The public is invited to attend.

» At 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, Charleston will speak at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Kailua. His subject will be "Our Personal Relationship to Jesus." For information, call 262-8176.

» At 7 p.m. Monday, he will deliver the Margaret "Peggy" Kai Memorial Lecture at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in downtown Honolulu. Charleston will address "The Meaning of Life: A Short Course in Why We Are Here" in the Tenney Theatre. A reception and questions will be held later in the Von Holt Room.
