Big Island police are asking for the public's help in finding a stolen sushi making machine.

Big Island police report that a stolen sushi maker valued at $12,000 taken in February was found May 28.

Police said today that they received a tip from the public that helped them locate the nearly 100-pound machine two days after a CrimeStoppers bulletin was issued on May 26.

The sushi maker disappeared during a February burglary in Hilo in the 700 block of Kilauea Avenue.
