Police are looking for the man who robbed the First Hawaiian Bank in Haleiwa on Wednesday morning.

Police are asking for the public for help in finding the man who robbed the First Hawaiian Bank today in Haleiwa.

The man entered the bank, at 66-135 Kamehameha Highway, at 11:17 a.m. Wednesday and handed a demand note to a teller, police said. He ran off, heading south-bound on Kamehameha Highway.

Police described the man as in his 30s, 6 feet tall, 160 to 180 pounds, and wearing a black-hooded jacket, green and white shorts, a black cap and sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the robber is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cell phone..
