Armed men impersonating police rob house in Aiea

Police are looking for four men impersonating police officers who robbed seven people at gunpoint at an Aiea house Monday.

Two of the men with badges and a third man armed with a black semi-automatic pistol confronted  two of the victims — two men, ages 33 and 18 — in the driveway of the house at 12:40 a.m., police said.

The suspects identified themselves as police and told the two men to get on the ground.

The four then entered the house and ordered another five victims, who were in the back bedroom playing video games, into the living room. The victims ranged in age from 14 to 47.

The four men then allegedly instructed the seven to empty their pockets, police said.

The men then fled in a white pickup truck. Police do not have a make or license plate number for the truck.

Police say the house was targeted.
