Second suspect arrested in Kona robbery

Hawaii County police have arrested a second suspect in a Kona robbery that resulted in the victim suffering a fractured jaw.

Alexander Miller, 21, of Kailua-Kona was arrested Monday night and charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault and third-degree theft. On Thursday, police charged 20-year-old Alexander Cho with the same three charges. .

A 25-year-old man from Kealakekua said he met a man at a bar and the man took him to the northwest corner of the Ali`i Sunset Plaza parking lot to meet five to six  men. The men punched and kicked the victim and stole his backpack, police said. The victim was treated at Kona Community Hospital for cuts and scrapes and a fractured jaw.
