Shark sighting closes Haena Beach

Kauai’s Haena Beach is closed today after lifeguards spotted a 10-foot tiger shark.
Signs have been posted at the beach and the public is advised to stay out of the water until further notice.
Officials say the beach will remain closed for the rest of today and will likely reopen Sunday if the water is deemed safe.
