Police ask for public’s help in Honolulu bank robbery case

Honolulu police released a security camera image of a man who robbed the Central Pacific Bank branch on Kapiolani Blvd. Saturday.
CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man who is wanted for robbing Central Pacific Bank, 1538 Kapiolani Blvd.
According to police, the man entered the bank at about 10:25 a.m. Saturday and handed a teller a note stating that he had a weapon, and demanded money. No weapon was seen.
The male fled with another male on foot toward the First Hawaiian Bank parking lot.
The suspect is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds, and has black hair. He was wearing a long-sleeve gray shirt, a black bandana and sunglasses at the scene of the robbery.

Suspect photos are improving with more resolution as time goes by.
