Its TWELVE hours after the last report and there is still no update. No information regarding a possible suspect? Was it self-inflicted? Was a police officer involved in the shooting? Based on the lack of information provided, it seems as though the SA “reporters” were listening to the police scanner and heard that some 47 year old guy was being transported to Queens from Liliha Street with a gunshot wound. The SA decided no “reporter” needed to be sent to the hospital or the scene.

Is the SA unaware of the illegal game rooms and drug distribution that goes on in that general vicinity? A lot of law abiding citizens live near there and probably ought to be informed of the danger in their neighborhood. What happened to the 4th Estate in this town? The SA has abdicated its responsibilities.

Jeez! The 1300 block of Liliha St. is Mayor Wrights! That’s not even a five minute drive from the SA offices in Restaurant Row. What ELSE were the SA “reporters” working on last night?

Maybe I’m living in a fantasy world where our town’s newspaper has “reporters” assigned to a night shift (when all the action is happening).
