Honolulu police released security camera images of four suspects in the armed robbery of the Aloha Island Mart in Waianae on May 13.
Honolulu police released dramatic security camera video this weekend of the armed robbery of the Waianae Aloha Island Mart last month in an attempt to identify the four suspects and two possible accomplices.
In the video, four suspects, hiding their faces with bandanas and handkerchiefs, enter the store at 85-803 Farrington Highway at 3:50 a.m. on May 13. One of the suspects points a handgun while the other suspects take items from the store. All four then run away.
The suspects are dressed in dark T-shirts, and one wears a blue hoodie. The armed suspect’s hair is tied in a topknot.
Another video shows the suspects in the corner of a parking lot and walking across the parking lot before entering the store.
Police also released images of two possible accomplices. Police said the two young men may have cased the store before the robbery.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Honolulu police at 529-3111 or CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellular phone.

Too much TV – can’t even hold a pistol properly.
It’s probably a good thing the criminals don’t know how to properly hold or use a gun. If a victim knows what he/she is doing, they have a good chance at killing the criminal instead of the other way around.

And law abiding citizens do not by order of the Police Chief. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with that picture? I can imagine where mokes do not even think of putting their hands on other people ever, no matter how many of them are in a group. The Police Chief is sworn to protect the law, including the US Constitution. Every Police Chief since Hawaii became a state has broken that law.

I do not think she is the one person in the entire state with a CCW. Last time I heard, the only person with a CCW is the private gunsmith for the HPD.

these kids need some serious encouragement to get on the right path to life and off from the road to destruction. it will take consistent love and attention from those who care and have it in their heart to follow through.
None of them using gloves as they open the doors. I hope the investigator took prints so they can help narrow down the list of possible suspects. Assuming of course these clowns might already have prior records or might be in the LiveScan fingerprint database. Nah, who am I kidding, they’re probably still busy looking for the police chiefs stolen mailbox.
What lolos! They rob a store using a gun (or a toy gun?) to steal a few small items? It appears this robbery may by a dare after a conversation that went something like this. “Hey, brah, I bet you scared rob da store.” “Nah, I no scared!” “Kay, den, we go, eh.” “Shoots, brah!”

Let’s see…not a stance that I’m familiar with…unless a reverse Weaver? Pistol position is definite influenced by law breaking individuals. However, trigger finger is at least “high and dry”…overall grade D-.
Possible “Catch and Release” candidate(s)…oh they will be caught either by someone bragging about their heist, too much talk or have already been identified.
We should really begin to support our citizens to protect themselves…proper conceal and carry and force-on-force traning/certification…seriously. Re: HPD CIU, “Shooter situaions can occur here, so prepare…” I agree and want to pariticipate. 🙂
With the speed that they entered and exited, the store employees wouldn’t have reacted fast enough if they were armed. Possibly, they would’ve made the situation more dangerous as being in a panic while drawing a weapon.
Perhaps…but we were not there to appreciate the situation. I agree, there’s a lot more to simply having a weapon available. Training will provide a means of assessment to engage or not engage. However, if active shooter begins to take lives perhaps the lost souls could be minimized.
What the heck is a reverse Weaver?
This happened over a month ago on May 13? I thought the general rule was that looking for suspects yields the best results immediately after the crime has been committed, and that the chances of finding the perps decreases dramatically as each day passes?
