Good Samaritans pull woman from car in water off Punaluu
Emergency Medical Services transported a 43-year-old woman to a hospital after she reportedly drove off Kamehameha Highway and into the ocean in Punaluu.
The crash occurred at about 9 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Kamehameha Highway and Haleaha Road.
Hawaii News Now reported two area residents pulled the woman out of her car and brought her to shore.
EMS treated and transported the woman to an area hospital in serious condition.
