Homeless woman charged in Kaneohe burglary

A 46-year-old homeless woman has been charged in connection with an alleged burglary on Wednesday.

Police say Denise Salazar was caught in the act of burglarizing a Kaneohe residence around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

She was charged on Friday with first-degree burglary, a Class B felony. Salazar’s bail was set at $50,000.
