Police hold suspect as large North Shore fight ends in stabbing


A large fight on the North Shore early Sunday morning ended with a stabbing, police said. 

An 18-year-old Waipahu man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder at 3:50 a.m. on Cane Street in Wahiawa, according to police records. 

Police said a large fight broke out near Emerson Road and Kamehameha Highway in Haleiwa, and the victim was stabbed. 

The victim, a 19-year-old man, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition, according to police.
