Police release video of Hawaii Kai robbery suspect

Honolulu police released security camera video of a robbery in Hawaii Kai in hopes of identifying the suspect.

The man entered the 7-Eleven on Pepeekeo Street, said he had a gun and took money from the register on Feb. 3, police said.

He was wearing a bright orange hooded sweatshirt, which mostly hid his face. But the video shows the hood coming off while the suspect is trying to take money from the register, giving the camera a good image of the man’s face.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Honolulu police detectives or CrimeStoppers at 955-8500 or *CRIME on a cellular phone.
