Made in Maui County Festival announced


The inaugural Made in Maui County festival will be staged Friday and Saturday Nov. 7 and 8 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

The event will showcase foods, art, craft items, jewelry, fashion, collectibles and more, all of which has been made on Maui, Molokai or Lanai, or which has at least 51 percent value-added within the county in keeping with Made in Hawaii Festival guidelines.

The first day of the event will feature an invitation-only afternoon reception for wholesale buyers and distributors.

The event will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8.

Presented by the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development in partnership with the Maui Chamber of Commerce, organizers are now accepting vendor applications and seeking sponsors.
