Woman wakes up as ex-boyfriend breaks in
A 20-year-old woman awoke Saturday morning to find her ex-boyfriend attempting to enter her bedroom window, police said.
The 21-year-old Waianae man fled when the window shattered at about 4 a.m. and patrol officers arrested the suspect at about 7:20 a.m. on suspicion of first-degree burglary, violating a restraining order and contempt warrants.
Police said the suspect had recently been served with a protective order.
