Man featured on ‘Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted’ turns self in to face drug charges

Hawaii County police arrested Wednesday a 35-year-old Pahala man who was featured on the cable access TV program “Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted,” which started airing March 11.

Jon Garcia, who was indicted by a grand jury on drug and weapons charges, turned himself in at the Hilo police station Wednesday evening.

He was arrested and charged with first-degree meth trafficking, being a felon in possession of ammunition, two counts of promoting a dangerous drug and two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia.

His bail was set at $66,000.

He posted bond and was released from police custody.

    Another meth dealer bites the dust. These vermins must be eliminated like rats as they contribute to the creation of other criminals and potential homeless.
