Waianae’s Max Holloway will put his nine-fight winning streak on the line against former UFC world lightweight champion Anthony Pettis at UFC 206 on Saturday, Dec. 10, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The UFC confirmed the news to the Star-Advertiser. Holloway (16-3, 12-3 UFC) is the No. 3-ranked fighter at 145 pounds and hasn’t lost since a unanimous decision to current featherweight champion Conor McGregor in August 2013.

Pettis (19-5, 6-4), who also held the WEC world lightweight title, has lost three of his last four fights and is coming off a submission victory in the third round over Charles Oliveira in his 145-pound debut in the UFC.

UFC 206 is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Daniel Cormier and No. 1-ranked challenger Anthony Johnson.
