Man arrested in assault of officer in Kaneohe

Police arrested a 32-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted a police officer while resisting arrest in Kaneohe.

At about 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a home on Melekula Road after a man allegedly violated a temporary restraining order.

Police said an officer arrived and a struggle ensued when the suspect resisted arrest.

The 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault of a law enforcement officer in the first degree, two counts of violating a temporary restraining order, criminal contempt and resisting arrest.

      Yep we got some subhumans here. The subhumans only grapple with cops because our cops don’t usually dare to shoot. The darn liberals scream so loud that the officers nerves get frayed if they dare to shoot. So they rather risk harm to themselves in scuffles.

        Yes, then go on work comp stay out longer. City cannot fill that position until officer is gone, retire with disability collect for the rest of life, then find another job that does not affect disability . With new 30 year requirement, older officers will be on the line, gotta think about the disability angle. Can you imagine a 60 year old policeman chasing a 19 year old?
