Police searching for trio who robbed elderly people in Chinatown

Police were looking for a trio of bandits who robbed a group of elderly people in the middle of the day Saturday in Chinatown.

The group of two males and a female threatened to use a weapon against the six victims and fled with their property at about 1:30 p.m., police said.

The victims were listed as two 69-year-old men, three other men — ages 63, 72, and 77 — and a 58-year-old woman.

Police said there were no injuries. Officers opened a first-degree robbery case.
