2 men charged in Kakaako shooting
Two men charged in connection with a recent shooting in Kakaako made their first court appearance at Honolulu District Court today.
Keith L. Rambin, 21, of no local address, was charged Monday with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and firearm offenses. Denzel Davis, 22, of Wahiawa, was charged with first-degree robbery and firearm offenses. Bail for each is set at $1 million.
Judge Lono Lee set their preliminary hearing for Thursday.
Police said a 46-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest following an altercation at about 4 a.m. on March 28 inside a building at 532 Cummins St.
Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition.
Police arrested Davis and Rambin in the Ward area Saturday night.
