Man charged with shooting ex-girlfriend in Kalihi

A 25-year-old man has been charged with shooting his ex-girlfriend in a drive-by shooting in Kalihi.

Dustin Ferrentino Raymond was charged Saturday night with second-degree attempted murder and several drug offenses. His bail was set at $250,000.

Police said at about 12:30 a.m. Friday, Ferrentino Raymond pulled up in a Ford Explorer next to his 31-year-old ex-girlfriend as she was driving on Kalihi Street and fired several rounds at her.

The woman was hit in her left shoulder, and about three bullets pierced her driver’s side door, police said. Paramedics took her to a hospital in serious condition.

Ferrentino Raymond fled and was arrested Friday night at Best Western The Plaza Hotel, 3253 N. Nimitz Highway. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
