Driver held in alleged assault on police officer
Honolulu police arrested a 26-year-old man for allegedly assaulting a police officer during a motor vehicle accident investigation.
The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. Thursday in Kapolei.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, excessive speed, operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant and driving without a license.
