Alexander & Baldwin buying Grace Pacific for $235 million

Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. is buying Grace Pacific Corp. for a combination of stock and cash valued at $235 million.

A&B will also assuming $42 million in Grace Pacific debt.

Grace is one of the state’s largest infrastructure company, providing aggregate, hot mix asphalt and road construction and paving services. It was founded in Hawaii in 1931, and its operations are based exclusively in Hawaii.
