Boyfriend allegedly hits girlfriend with bottle during argument in Waikiki
A 28-year-old man allegedly hit his 33-year-old girlfriend with a bottle during an argument yesterday and was arrested on suspicion of assault in the second degree, police said.
The assault allegedly occurred around 4:30 p.m. yesterday at the boyfriend’s home in Waikiki, where he was arrested.
The woman suffered “substantial bodily injury” and was treated at a hospital and released.
The boyfriend also was arrested for an outstanding criminal contempt warrant, police said.
