Effective this year, qualified Hawaii residents who are not registered may go in-person to any early walk in voting location within their county to register and vote. To be eligible to register, you must be a U.S. Citizen, a Hawaii resident, and at least 18 years of age.

To check your voter registration status, view your sample ballot, or for additional information about the 2016 Elections, visit www.elections.hawaii.gov or call 453-VOTE (8683).

The primary election will be held on Aug. 13.

The general election will be held on Nov. 8.
